Resumo: Sufficient healthy bone mass at the implantation site is the most important prerequisite for achieving successful long-term bone integration. Sufficient bone mass must also have sufficient bone height and bone width. Clinical studies have shown that if there is a bone wall defect on the buccal side of the implantation site, it will increase the incidence of soft tissue complications and the long-term failure rate. In order to avoid implant complications and an increase in failure rate, we need to take appropriate bone increments for sites with insufficient bone mass, regenerate new bone and ensure implant placement.
